Hey Amy,

The place I ordered from isn't necessarily the cheapest, they just had all the different things I wanted to get all in one place (also got an extension cable and a couple different types of electrodes). So since you are just getting electrodes I would poke around and get the cheapest you can find for just that product. Sorry I can't be more help!

Besides... I can't find where the order confirmation is, so i dont' know where I bought mine from!?!

Do you think the different electrodes are necessary? Or should we just stick with the what it comes with?

I am using Pathways TR20 we rent it from Current Medical Tehnologies having the 2 channels shows when both muscles are working or 1 is relaxing or if any are cocontracting the cost is $85 a month plus $90 for a 2 or 3 month supply of pads you will need a script from your doctor to rent one. The pads are not reuseable so depending on how often you use the machine you will need more we use it everyday so far.

Just wondering if anyone saw the listing on the UBPN about the up coming Myotrak workshop in Chicago? Who is Karen Pape? Anyone considering going?

I wrote the contact person and this was in conjunction with a 2-day therapists' workshop in Chicago. I was considering going to that but it turns out they are planning to do other therapists' programs around the country; maybe next spring in Southern California so I'll hold out for that.

The parent get-together on November 17th was only about 2 hours of sort of "show and tell" after the therapists' workshop is over.

They have some interesting ideas it looks like, but I am completely convinced that Joshua would not tolerate emg-triggered estim. He would see the estim kicking in as a punishment, he hates stim that much. Between his sensory issues and skin (which he gets from me and I cannot tolerate e-stim either!) it just wouldn't be a positive experience for him. Now, if we could configure it to shock him if he *stops* contracting... just kidding! We have just gotten to the point where he will even let me put the myotrac electrodes on without a fuss.

This place offered this unit to me at $350.00 today. They dont accept insurance but said to check with my insurance company about getting re-imbursed. The person to contact is Nancy in Georgia at 1-800-227-5197. They need a script from the Dr. is all.
